About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to be aware of the entire world around me

ABOUT ME

Just finished undergrad, and I'm off to trot the globe a bit. Figuring out the next step.

PHILOSOPHY

The aim of life is to live, and to live means to be aware, joyously, drunkenly, serenely, divinely aware.
-Henry Miller

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to be a part of this community because I truly believe in its principles. I believe in this one world and helping others out. I love that financial considerations are out of the picture here because it is people helping people out of the goodness of their hearts. That is beautiful. Period.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since I have signed up as a couch surfer, I have been on the move. I have only been able to take advantage of the receiving end of the couchsurfing deal. BUT, I am so excited that I will be planted in Estes Park, CO for a while so that I have the opportunity to host. I really hope I can give back to this awesome community of people in the near future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen lightning bugs flashing as I rode my bike to a beach party on an island with no lights within miles. That, my friend, was incredible.

I have seen a banana spider the size of my face in the jungle of Panama as I was on the path to the most gorgeous beach on earth.

I have seen the greenest grass ever while I was driving through Ireland with my boyfriend, Toby.

I have experienced sheer bliss while standing in a 7 story art squat in Paris while avoiding the large museums.

I have zoomed around Rome on the back of a gorgeous man's vespa.

I have picked potatoes and bailed hay in West Virginia more times than I can count.

I have lived for an entire summer eating vegetables from my parents' garden.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people how to make the best brownies and cookies on earth. I can teach people how to make bangin' hummus and killer butternut squash soup. I can teach people how to make pita bread. I can teach people some African Dance moves. I could teach some simple reiki self healing techniques.

I am a pretty quick learner and would LOVE to LEARN ANYTHING YOU HAVE TO TEACH.
