关于我
CURRENT MISSION
Meet all sorts of people while enjoying the European world
ABOUT ME
I'm an engineering student from CO, USA studying/working in Germany for the spring and summer (until August 2014) and I'm looking to do a bunch of traveling. I just really enjoy meeting people in general, I figure surfing and hosting is an awesome way to do it!
I greatly enjoy looking at and talking about tattoos also!
PHILOSOPHY
I'm a big fan of meeting and spending hours talking with people I've only just met. I seem to do this a lot lately. I seem to really enjoy it though.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm open to meeting and hosting all sorts of folks, from all walks of life. I like to attend local couch surfing gatherings in town as well.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Little, but I'm looking to hit the ground running.
兴趣
I'm an engineer, so I sort of like math and calculating stuff I guess.
I'm not just all about the digits and degrees. I'm a big advocate of equality (in all shapes and forms), and I have another facet of my being for various sorts of art and expression.
I also very much enjoy the outdoors, I'm a rather avid rock climber. I'm trying to learn how to draw, I'm nothing special though... yet.

音乐、电影和书籍
The Great Gatsby is my top. I've read lots of books over the years. I'm very much into A Song of Ice and Fire right now.
I like all sorts of movies, but more past than present. I'm a big fan of Jaws (it's probably my favorite), and also stuff by Stanley Kubrick (The Shining, 2001: A Space Odyssey). Studio Ghibli holds a special place in my heart, too.
Music wise, I enjoy much of the indie rock scene. I've always enjoyed Radiohead quite a lot. Flume, Beach House, Massive Attack, Jose Gonzalez, Alt-J (∆), etc. I'm also pretty big into progressive rock (like Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Mogwai, Sigur Ros, Yndi Halda.
我做过的一件不可思议的事情
I've lived in the United States most of my life. I grew up in the state of Minnesota, spent a lot of my childhood wandering the shores of Lake Superior, an absolute majesty. I went to school in Iowa, finished there, and then went to China for a few months. I came back to the US, started grad school in Boulder, Colorado and happened upon an opportunity to live in Germany for a while. And that's currently where I'm at.
