Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
living life fully and valuing the amazing people and places in my life
ABOUT ME
People often tell me that they love my laugh, I think I'm generally a happy, joyous person. I love to ride my bicycle, grow veggies in my garden, spin and knit soft wooly things, and play music with my two bands. I teach Spanish to 1st-4th graders and work for a small non-profit teaching kids about compost.
PHILOSOPHY
structural change and the pacific ocean

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would love to start hosting couchsurfers! Someday I'll live someplace and do that... in the mean time, I occasionally find myself in need of a host!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I planned a last minute bike trip and was able to find amazing people to stay with along the way through couchsurfing! I'm looking forward to staying with more people and eventually hosting people as well.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Harold and Maude
Music: I was raised on the Grateful Dead and folk musicians from the 60s, and that music has led me to my current love of contemporary singer/songwriters and other sorts of homespun, folky music.
Books: Terry Tempest Williams, Edward Abby, Wendell Berry, Barbara Kingsolver, Paul Farmer
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2009 I left Cerro Punta, Panama, where I had been living for the year working with a group of organic farmers and traveled over land to Texas through all of Central America and Mexico.
