ABOUT ME

I am a girl, open-minded, hospitable, easygoing, straightforward and kinda emotional, and fascinated with traveling and culture and nature exploring. I am now studying in TIM School of University of Hawaii, seeking for my master degree on Travel Industry Management. I may not be able to host you right now, but if you are coming to Oahu, Hawaii, please let me know. We can hang out if I am available.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I ever hosted a traveler who is from Argentina. When I was traveling in Canada winter 2012, I received so many hospitable host invitations. So I made my first surfing experience in Canada, and met two good friends in Quebec! It was one of my happiest memories while in Quebec with them. I hope I can have more experience like that.

Interests

Traveling, hiking, camping, reading, Jazz, sports and exploring cultures occupied most of my lifetime. I am also willing and feel like making new friends who love to explore different culture and immerse in the nature as well. When I was working in Beijing, every weekend I would go to rural places for hiking and camping. I was super amazed when I saw the whole sky with few clouds and twinkling stars or a full round moon in the midnight. I do like those moments, indeed, made me feel like I am one part of the nature.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Chinese cooking. Since my father and grandmother is really good cooks, I was influenced a lot by them. I have never learned or been taught how to cook seriously. I just watch and practice and taste and create. So my cooking style is not so traditional Chinese. I like creating dishes with fresh and organic food materials. Sometimes I just mix Chinese style with Japanese or Thai or Western. It sounds weird but tastes really good! I am always surprised by what I've cooked.
