Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing to meet local people and make new friends - and hopefully have unique experinces that we both enjoy.

Interests

I'm a curious and active person and love hiking, surfing, or even just walking around a new place and meeting people. I'm always excited to explore new environments, ideas and activities and constantly learning.

Always carrying my mirrorless camera and tripod, I love to capture my experiences with film and photography. I love taking exposure-blended landscapes, architecture and people photos.

I also enjoy drawing and painting as a freelance illustrator and 2D and 3D animator. I painted and drew many portrait of people and pets while I completed my university studies. I enjoy art exhibitions and often find inspiration for new work.

Music is another passion of mine. I try to see as many live gigs as possible, and will listen to almost any genre. I write songs and play guitar in an indie-rock band, also vocals, keyboards and guitar in a cover-song duo for weddings, restaurants and events.

Also food. Food is good. No food is the best. I eat anything and am slowly eating my way around the world. I will always return from trips a bit heaver and that's how it should be. I love cooking but have much to learn. Most importantly, I own a chef hat.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy classical music, rock and pop and also a bit of blues, jazz and neo soul. A bit of everything. Some of my favourite bands include, Fleetwood Mac, John Mayer, ACDC, Slipknot, Metalica, Lake Street Dive, Hiatus Kyote, Powderfinger, Meatloaf, Led Zeplen, The Preatures, Megan Washington, INXS, RHCP, Queen, David Bowie, Missy Higgins and much more. I love hearing new music.

Some of my favourite books are 1984, The Hobbit, The book thief, The girl with the Dragon tattoo.

My favorite movies are probably the rocky horror picture show, Lord of the rings and Monty python.

I'm a sponge and always keen to learn about pretty much anything - history, sport, culture, science, food, etc...
