Hoping to travel around Germany, to really learn the language, and spread music and good cheer.

ABOUT ME

I'm an Illustration graduate working in the art world. So naturally I spend a lot of time drawing, but I also really enjoying playing violin, cycling and chocolate. I'm also learning German so am always keen to see if I can get a chance to improve and practice!

I have long hair and am a vegetarian; please don't judge me. Unfortunately I can't host any couchsurfers this year; but I certainly will when I live a bit more independently in the future.

Interests

So basically art goes without saying - particularly Expressionism, Impressionism, Illustration, chaps like Francis Bacon, Holborn, John Martin, comic books.

I'm also a big fan of Folk Music, which is mainly what I play on violin. Not the world's best musician, but don't worry - I can play in tune. I also love a whole range of music, in particular Soul, alternative, early classical, disco...

I love reading, mostly history, philosophy and classic literature. I also really like cycling and spending time reading in city cafés or nice woods, maybe by the sea.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can draw real good, and a lot of sister skills - design, graphics, type, printmaking. If you're really cool I'll leave you some nice drawings! I'm super-good at Photoshop and InDesign because that's essentially my job. I can play violin at an decent level, plus bass guitar too. If you need to know about Folk or Soul music, I can cut the crap and tell you all about the best stuff. I also make the best Omelette ever, it's insane.
