I'm an astrophysics graduate hoping to meet some friendly people while travelling and see a local perspective! Always looking for new experiences, ideas, places, perspectives and sounds. I enjoy composing, recording and mixing music in my spare time - I recently released an album (callummm.bandcamp.com). Moving to London in September - not yet sure where exactly I'll live, but I want to host couchsurfers if my housemates don't mind!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting interesting people, sharing stories, ideas and local knowledge! My first couchsurfing experience in Maastricht was everything I'd hoped for, and I've met lots of interesting people through the local couchsurfing meetups too

I enjoy pretty much anything as long as it's either really nice, really noisy, really ethereal, really danceable, really human, has engaging lyrics, has interesting rhythms/melodies, features wonky noises, or contains harps/cellos/sopranos

Books: The Waves (Virginia Woolf), recently enjoyed Understanding Philosophy of Science (James Ladyman) and This Changes Everything (Naomi Klein). I really like short stories too, especially Except for the Sickness I'm Quite Healthy Now (Thomas Glynn) and The Balloon (Donald Barthelme)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Worked at a festival as just a volunteer, and ended up managing the main stage for the entire weekend and hanging out with some of my favourite bands
