About Me
"The perfect man has no self; the spiritual man has no achievement; and the true sage has no name"
I am back in GZ. Again. I can't seem to escape. I MIGHT be hosting in the future. MIGHT. At the moment it isn't possible. PLus there isn't the same demand in GZ as in Amsterdam! Do feel free to ask questions/for a meet up though!
I am a no hassle surfer, I will do my best to be a responsible and courteous guest!!
At the moment I am spending my time cycling, working and drinking tea.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
"I hate travelling and explorers. Yet here I am proposing to tell the story of my expeditions"
I have surfed quite a bit in Asia and Europe and I am still in contact with lots of my ex hosts (and hostees!), I love it, it is much more than just a free couch, it is all about sharing cultures, experience and friendship! God I sound like a dick and I apologize for that, I really do.
I'm not a clubber so don't expect a party house!!
"The more I see the less I know"
Interests
I find people, societies, cultures and history fascinating. I love hearing other peoples opinions and discovering their history.... Sometimes my conversations can turn into a bit of an interrogation haha
When Travelling I can enjoy most things! I enjoy everything from spectacular scenery to giant cities and local neighbourhoods! Since joining CS I have learnt that travelling is the most fun when on a bike!
"Which place on earth should you love more? The place where you crawled out of the womb, a screaming infant, understanding nothing, not even the evidence of your eyes or ears? Or the place where they first said to you 'All right, you can go without a guard now, you can go by yourself’”

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
"Nowadays, being an explorer is a trade which consists not, as one might think, in discovering hitherto unknown facts after years of study, but in covering a great many miles and assembling lantern-slides or motion pictures, preferably in colour, so as to fill a hall with an audience for several days in succession. For this audience , platitudes and commonplaces seem to have been miraculously transmuted into revelations by the sole fact that their author, instead of doing his plagiarizing at home, has supposedly sanctified it by covering some twenty thousand miles."
Teach, Learn, Share
"We're tired of drudging and sleeping and dying. We're tired of seeing just a few people able to be individualists. We're tired of always deffering hope until the next generation. We're tired of hearing the politicians and priests and cautious reformers coax us, 'Be calm! Be patient! Wait! We have the plans for a utopia already made; just give us a bit more timeand we'll produce it; trust us; we're wiser than you.' for ten thousand years they've said that"
