CURRENT MISSION

Super excited to be doing a solo trip around Europe. I want to see as much art as possible, meet as many strange and interesting people as I can and try all the amazing food out there, and laugh my ass off the entire time!

ABOUT ME

I'm open minded, fun and spontaneous. I have a funny if not slightly strange sense of humor and like to laugh a lot. I have only recently started to travel and am really enjoying it, it is really broadening my perspective on the world so far. I am down for all sorts of crazy adventures, meeting new and interesting people along the way and look forward to seeing a more personal side of the countries I am visiting through couchsurfing.

PHILOSOPHY

I just want to smile and laugh as much as I can everyday. I think it is good to always be learning and trying to understand other people's perspectives. Being genuine and authentic are admirable qualities in people.

I'm new to CS, heard about it from a buddy of mine that used it while traveling Thailand. He could not have enough good things to say about it so I thought I would give it a shot.

Interests

I really enjoy art and History. I like to animate, sketch and paint. I make movies for a living. It is really fun to sit down with a pint and chat with people from all over the world. I am also a big fan of sports and being active, I really like to ski, play hockey, surf and scuba dive.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies I like are The Incredibles, How to Train Your Dragon, Shawshank Redemption, Zombieland, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, All the Nolan Batman's so far, Sin City, Star Trek, Inglorious Basterds(really anything Tarentino), The Harry Potter and Lord of The Ring series.

Like all sorts of music mostly listen to Metal, Blues, Rock, Folk, Jazz, Punk, and Classical

Favourite books are Gun's Germs and Steele, most of Christopher Hitchens works I've read, In Praise of Slow, Jpod, The Greatest Show on Earth, And multiple titles from Christopher Moore.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My last trip I went to Ko Tao in Thailand to learn to scuba dive. It was amazing I have never seen so many color's and the variety of life down there blew my mind, totally surreal experience. Just last May I was surfing in Tofino on Vancouver Island right at home in B.C., pretty chilly we had to wear rather thick wet suits but had a blast with an amazing group of people who were all good friends by the end of the trip. We surfed all day having some drinks and BBQ'ing. A few of us then hit the sauna's with little breaks in between for some polar bear swims in the northern pacific for a body shocking eye opening good time!
