I'm a guy from Northern Ireland currently travelling in Bali with my girlfriend Caitlin. I graduated from university with a masters a year and a half ago, since then I've been working a few part-time and full-time jobs in Edinburgh and China. I like a lot of things, I'm sure we have something in common! My favourite things to do are running, snorkeling, rock climbing, mountaineering and eating tasty food! I'm really interested in the environment and sustainability.

I want to meet people from cities I'm traveling through, get their advice on filling my days with worthwhile activities and share my stories/ chat and daft sense of humour!

Interests

I like any sport that goes from point A to point B, I'm not too fussed with what's in between, but typically I've found land, sea or air from my experience. I did a baking course a few years ago with some friends and I think it's pretty magic. I've done a lot of camping expeditions and living from a bag, west highland way, GR11 Spanish Pyrenees, Camino de Santiago (Del Norte), Cape Wrath trail to name a few highlights.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like most music as in there's a time and place for almost any style but upbeat is definitely best for mates!

Movies, well, Sci-Fi is my favourite genre because I'm a sucker for a dystopian setting, Gattaca, The Matrix, 12 Monkeys, Alien series to name a few.

I start a lot of books but I really feel they've been phased out by the internet for me... always keen for a recommendation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Attempted to traverse the Cullin's Ridge in a day and got hopelessly lost in thick fog.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you how to make a pizza or bake a loaf of bread if you fancy it. Maybe get you to have a go at slacklining or teach you the ropes with climbing!
