ABOUT ME
I like to think I am very laid back for such and active/busy person. I am a full-time student at Texas Woman's University and am a chemistry major.
To try and compensate for the nerdier side of me I cook, rock climb, cycle, dance (swing and salsa), draw, horse vault (http://youtube.com/watch?v=km4fqXsAqmU), knit, paddle, watch baseball and hockey and other "normal things" like that.
I really just want to travel so I may learn the ways of the world and have fun... is that to much to ask?
PHILOSOPHY
Close you eyes and gun it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've gone to a couple of CS gatherings across the country, and hosted a few surfers and have surfed myself.
I do my best to respond to request, but if you make it clear to me that you have NOT read my profile I can't guarantee that I will take the time to reply to your message.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Chicago CS meetups: Best time ever! The Chicago CS group is super involved and basically a group of awesome people. I had taken a road trip with 2 other CSers and we surfed at Tom's place (a fantastic host!) and decided to go to the Thursday get together at Moody's. There was literally about 40 of us taking over the beer garden just talking, joking, planning other awesome events like Monday night kickball in the park and cookouts and of course buying/sharing pitchers. There were about 5-7 international CSers that were of course, awesome as well. I still talk to some of the CSers there and plan to go back just for kicks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In high school I use to work at various Equitherapy Centers (therapeutic horseback riding). For me personally it was a lot of barn work, but I also spent a great deal of time working with students with a variety of circumstances (anything from ADHD to Autism to CP to Paralysis).
Teach, Learn, Share
Diversity stands to be one of the most important keys in civilization. With diversity people can begin to understand how others live, think, feel, believe, and more about how the world works. With this greater understanding we can then change how people begin to treat each other and improve the way we all live.
In other news: I can coach Horse Vaulting (have you YouTubed it yet?) and unicycling. Those are probably the most unique things I can show you.
