About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My mission in life is to find what it means to be non-consequential.
ABOUT ME
I collect streetlamps from all over the world. I am an avid follower of Gogol Bordello. I believe in complex interdependence and the best way to understand things is to experience them. I study political science, International Affairs, and French, and I hope to one day work for an NGO along the lines of Human Rights Watch or Amnesty International.
My hobbies include taking pictures of shows, wandering around cities (more so, getting lost), meeting people, reading, traveling, going to see live music, riding trains, long-boarding, rock climbing, and taking life in stride.
PHILOSOPHY
"I am never lost, just temporarily displaced from the familiar"
-Erin Robertie
Stolen personal Philosophy: "I can believe things that are true and things that aren't true and I can believe things where nobody knows if they're true or not...I believe that life is a game, that life is a cruel joke, and that life is what happens when you're alive and that you might as well lie back and enjoy it." -Neil Gaiman
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
surf and host and tell everyone I meet just how great this system is.
****************UPDATES*******************
I just moved to the US.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have always found my hosts to be extremely helpful and nice. Even if there is not a 'couch' by pure definition, a simple shower, directions, or recommendations are welcome. Surfers tend to have the most incredible stories and are willing to share philosophies and if we are lucky, their music.
Interests
Books, politics, art, movies, snow, old cars, words, languages, and studying the Ethno-nationalist conflict theory in relation to geopolitical boundaries concerning development.
