About Me
Hello! My name is Calum and im from Scotland. Currently im studying in Alaska at the University of Fairbanks. I have one more year left back in Scotland and then I will be able to graduate. I really love living in Alaska because of the adventures you can have in the wild places!
I am really into the outdoors and love to go snowboarding on my splitboard, mountainbiking and climbing. I am also really passionate about travelling and have been to lots of mainly mountainous places around the world like Nepal, India, Africa, North America and all over Europe. I love exploring places I have no knowledge of and meeting lots of interesting people!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have many friends who have used couchsurfing as a way of travelling cheaply and meeting local people, but have never had the opportunity to use it for myself. However me and my friend who im studying with, Philippe, are going to cycle from Nicaragua to Lima in Peru over a few months at the end of May. So we would love to be able to use couch surfing to meet lots of people and have some cool experiences!
I would love to be able to accept guests here in Fairbanks however I am staying in dorms so it might not be possible all the time, however just ask and I can see if it is possible at the time. I also have family and friends in Scotland who would love to help you out, just ask!
