My fiancé Sarah and I have been living and travelling together for the last 8 years. First of all in the Middle East (2010), then South Asia (2013) and currently South East Asia.

We’ve taken a career break and moved out of London and are travelling for a year or more to clear the cobwebs and realign our priorities.

I’m a teacher by trade and Sarah is a therapist (CBT). So we’re trained in professions that require hard work, loads of empathy and compassion, which reflects our characters.

We’re approachable, friendly and outgoing and are always up for meeting new people and having new experiences.

We love good food! We love going to local eats and getting the best in cheap and tasty local fare. We’re pretty decent cooks and would love to cook for hosts and guests. Especially want to learn new recipes and dishes from our travels.

Books - Love Fantasy and Sci-fi (Lord of the Rings, Neuromancer, Foundation Trilogy), Classics (The Quiet American, For whom the bell tolls) and more modern literature (e.g most things by Atwood, Murakami or Cormac McCarthy) the list goes on ...

At home we go to the cinema at least once a fortnight and gigs once a month

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent 36 days trekking in the Himalayas this trip and another 34 five years ago - putting us at over two months purely on our feet.
