ABOUT ME

My house is a converted barn 7 miles from Dumfries in a tiny wee hamlet. Its a good place to live, an peaceful. I make kitchens from my workshop which is next to the house and regularly go down to the local pub which is a few miles away at the end of a days work before dinner.

I am also involved in my local church where I play the guitar, sing and also preach.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I had just left school and was also a student I used to regularly meet people on trains or hitch hiking and end up aranging to stay with them. Often they were families who offered me their spare room. It was always a great way to go to a city or area, and always adhoc. I guess this is more structured than when I did it, but no less fun. My most luxurious was a house in Kensington London, and my most fun was with a French family in their tent.

兴趣

I guess I am a country guy at heart. I used to love travelling, but mortgages, running your own business, etc begin to get in the way. Love walking, cycling and music.
