Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When running a medical volunteering trip in the Philippines, we were graciously hosted in Northern Samar by some of the mothers we were educating about wound care, hand hygiene and medication usage.

The experience was genuinely eye opening and a great opportunity to see both how different our living circumstances were, but also how similar our goals and values were as people.

I would love to share cultures and experiences in the same way, and make lifelong friends in the process!
