Hiya! My name is Calvin. I am 22 years old. I'm told I have an old soul. I'm kind and strive to live a compassionate life. I grew up in the ballet school world, I moved away from home at 12 to pursue my dream of becoming a professional ballet dancer. I started dancing professionally at 16 and was given the honor of traveling all over Europe, and so the seed of wanderlust was sewn. I am a teacher currently, I love kids and get the pleasure of learning from them everyday. Also embarrassing myself everyday haha! Humility is powerful! I love to cook. I love to learn. I love to share. I am starting a new chapter in my life, and I am so excited for it. I believe in manifesting the future you wish to be apart of. Proactively. Which is exactly what I am doing. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will be in Europe for 25 days this winter for auditions and I am looking for a unique adventure where I am able to share my experience with beautiful people along the way.

My music taste is pretty broad. From David Bowie to Philip Glass. At the moment I am writing this, I am listening to Mad Rush by Philip Glass. I love musicals, Hamilton and anything Sondheim are direct ways to my heart. I love Jamie Issac and Pool Cosby. Arcade Fire and Dirty Projectors. Major Lazer, Crystal Castles, Fever Ray and so much more.
Movies... I am into documentaries, I love the movie Savage Grace, I am Love, La Vie en Rose, The Handmaiden, "The cook, the thief, his wife & her lover", The Netflix series The OA is incredible and so moving. I love Chef's Table.
Books.... I am currently reading The Waterless Flood by Margaret Atwood. I love James Patterson, as cheesy as that is. I also love John Green.

I performed Cinderella on a stage in Italy that Mozart performed on. It was life changing.
