Due to my profession many people are surprised to find that I am outgoing, fun, and inquisitive. I have worked hard for many, many years and am now spending more time traveling and seeing the world. I enjoy everything from art and cultural events, academia, to skydiving and zip-lining.

I have had several friends tell me positive things about their experiences. Now I have stayed with several hosts in China and had wonderful experiences. I look forward to hosting some people myself once I am settled back down!

Movies: I love comedies (There's Something About Mary, The Hangover, Better off Dead, Princess Bride) and triumph over adversity films (like The Shawshank Redemption and Dead Poets Society) and documentries.Books: everything from Graham's the Intelligent Investor to Watterson's The Authoritive Calvin and Hobbes :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At age 17 drove from near Canada to Yucatan Peninsula and camped on the Caribbean and drove back - over 20,000 miles driven in about 5 weeks - and I didn't speak any Spanish at the time!
