Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To breathe the salty Pacific airs of western USA
ABOUT ME
I'm a minimalist. I choose to take my time to do things myself rather than purchase services or pre-made conveniences. I enjoy making things (cooking, drawing, photography, etc), reading (lately Tolstoy's War and Peace), riding bikes (BMX, MTB, touring, what-have-you) and of course going to new places/doing new things.
Also I'm friendly, outgoing and open minded.
PHILOSOPHY
The only way to enjoy life is to take the time to do enjoyable things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I just started using CS to find good people to meet and stay with while traveling. I suppose the best I can offer is basically what I'm looking for; to share my story with new people and learn theirs. But I imagine sometime when I acquire a stable place I can call home I'll return the favor.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been on more than a few road trips where after a little bit of networking at the local skate park where I and some buddies end up rolling out our sleeping bags on some friendly persons living room floor. This can only be improved upon with a collaborative feast (dinner, breakfast, brunch, whatever) and/or by embarking upon whatever current host considers a good time.
Interests
Currently I'm interested in earl grey tea and long bike skids.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once while travelling down the entire Mississippi river by boat and bicycle my travel mates and I happened upon a beach along the Missouri shore that was the midnight hatching grounds for hundreds of baby turtles.
Teach, Learn, Share
As you may have guessed by now, I know my way around a bicycle. And am always into helping people learn bike maintenance and fix injured cycles.
When it comes to cooking I have some experience but more to learn.
Also, I can't dance. This isn't really an issue for me but I'd love to learn.
