Overview
About Me
American college student currently working on my degree in Business Administration. I learned to speak Spanish (well, more or less...my mother is convinced that I'm practically fluent, but actual Spanish speakers are far less impressed with my abilities) while studying abroad in Spain and Costa Rica, and am very excited to begin learning Arabic next semester. I'm an optimist, teller of terrible puns, and a social and outgoing person, and I love eating new foods, visiting new places, and trying new things. I love the world we live in and can't wait to see more of it!
Currently studying abroad, so unfortunately I'm unable to host.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet people! What little travel I've done with my family has always been quite touristic, never straying too far from the beaten path. I fell in love with the idea of couchsurfing because I want to experience new places beyond the superficial level. The few experiences I've had with couchsurfing have been amazing and I'm really excited to get more involved.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love reading! Harry Potter is obviously my favorite. After all this time, you ask? Always.
Some others that I love include the Graveyard Book and everything else by Neil Gaiman, The Lacuna, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Kite Runner, Paper Towns, I Am the Messenger, On the Road. Also the poem Howl. My favorite non-fiction book is King Leopold's Ghost.
My favorite movies are Spirited Away, the Lord of the Rings, the Butterfly Effect, Death at a Funeral, Mad Max: Fury Road, and Stardust.
My favorite TV shows are Jessica Jones, Buffy, Parks and Recreation, Sense8, and X-Files.
I harbor a secret weakness for Marvel movies (#teamironman) and superhero TV shows.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm finishing up my Erasmus in Murcia, Spain, and everything about this semester was amazing, including my first couchsurfing experiences!
Lived in Costa Rica with an infinitely patient host family for 2 months while learning to speak Spanish
