I'm a 24 year old adventure seeker with a passion for the outdoors! I love meeting new people that can help me explore places I've never been to before. I graduated from UMass Amherst with a degree in kinesiology and now work full time in writing, my one true passion. And above all else, I love using my odd sense of humor to make others smile!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I couch surf for various reasons, most of them related to my desire to travel and see the world while meeting amazing people alone the way. Having lived in a home that was open to couchsurfers, I've come to love the community and the wonderful people that open their homes to others.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorites books recently include A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson, The Sixth Extinction by Elizabeth Kolbert, and Blink by Malcolm Gladwell. My favorite music is all across the spectrum, and includes artists like Kendrick Lamar, Future Islands, Odesza, and so many more. My favorite movies are classic comedies such as Old School, The Big Lebowski, and Office Space to name a few.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've done is travel to France with a friend in the summer of 2016. We lived in Paris and traveled on the bullet train to Nice, in the South of France. This was the first trip I've ever taken to Europe with a friend, and it was a truly unforgettable experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

A philosophy I live by is that an opportunity failed is far better than an opportunity missed. Life is all about going for broke, despite that little voice inside telling you otherwise. It is with this frame of mind that I venture to places that are foreign, make new friens, and embark on adventures that push my boundaries.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can write you some wonderful poems or read you a bedtime story that's created on the fly. I can cook pretty well for being a vegetarian and will take your pet for a walk around the block.
