From the 5th of August I'll be travelling with my friend Holly. She is much cooler than I am.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Snoring the paint off the walls.

I live on the beach in Western Australia and my parents have an empty house in the wine country; I'm a pretty handy friend to have.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Coming from a country town I'm pretty well versed in bumming on my city dwelling mates' couches. My dishwashing skills are second to none. Other than that, I've hosted a couple of people, stayed on plenty of couches, walked one or two dogs, made a few salads, bought a few beers, drank plenty of them, and solved the odd rubiks cube.

兴趣

Skipping the tourist sites and hanging with the local people, learning a few key phrases, eating some good food, drinking a few tins, discovering hidden gems, generally chatting shit, going to flea markets and being disappointed with the stuff (made my first purchase this morning, then lost it!), hanging out on the stoop.

Seeing the treasury at Petra basking in the light of the morning sun. Stepping off the edge of the reef into the great blue unknown at the blue hole in Dahab. Watching a friend almost vomit while I ate steak tartare.
