ABOUT ME

I was born in Milano and I live in Milan.
I also speak dialect :o))
There is a love-hate relationship with my town ... may be as I am getting older and older and Milano is a "No Country for Old Men":o))

I love travel ... and I did it for a long time in the past, during summer around Europe by motor bike (a BMW R100RS), now also the motorbike is getting older, so I have to decide to retire also the motorbike :o( in the main time I am going around with a scooter (I DO NOT USE A CAR). In the past I spent summer holidays around Europe with the motorbike ... now I am lazier.

I live with my wife and a lovely big dog, she is a teacher but unfortunately she doesn't speak English, I am trying to teach her a little of English ... but I am a Student so .... :o) you have to talk with me ... poor you!
I was working for a US company, in Information Technology division.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started in 2006 with Hospitality Club ... I was really scared when arrived my first guests (Juri & Olga), I did not know what to do and how.
I realized immediately that I was just stupid ... this is the best way to travel if you do not want to spend your life (and journey) in a box.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had great experiences hosting people coming from differents countries, are still few now but the time spent with them, at home or around was really exciting.

I love Music in my home you can see thousands of records from 70's and 80's.
In the past I practiced AIKIDO, I am a 1° dan, then I left it and I started with KENDO. I love Japan even if I never been there, maybe in the future.
Now I practing some more relaxing sports like diving and ride horses ... both really expensive so not so often :o))
I collect hats, civils and military, from all over the world some of them very old (if you want I can show you)
