Things I Don't Like:

1) Confrontational homeless people.
2) The plastic taste from new waterbottles.
3) Cleaning the snow off my car.
4) Text-based conversations taking over my friendships.
5) Worms on the sidewalk when it rains.
6) Trying to run with a backpack on.
7) That mayonnaise doesn't need to be refrigerated before it's opened.
8) Having to guess if the lady that just got on the bus is old enough to give up my seat for.
9) Tobacco.
10) Sunglasses-induced headaches.
11) Denim jackets. And denim shirts. And denim hats.
12) Waking up terrified as the airplane touches down.
13) Trying to talk to people as they check their Blackberry emails.
14) Claiming to like things 'before they were cool'.
15) Feeling the need to throw up gang signs in pictures.
16) Conspiracy theories.
17) Band-Aids floating in the pool.
18) Feeling obligated to talk to the cab driver.
19) Anything electronic clipped on a belt.
20) When people tell me "you look tired".
21) Sexual innuendos taking over hip hop music.
22) Over-groomed facial hair.
23) The "is no longer in a relationship" status update.
24) Getting 97 cents back in change.
25) Pedestrians trying to read books while walking down the sidewalk.
26) The bottom of pants tucked into the top of socks.

28) Customers taking a full cart through the self-checkout.
29) Anything hanging from the rear-view mirror of a car.
30) The comments section of any website.
31) Having to disassemble completed jigsaw puzzles.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now, I plan to participate by hosting at my apartment downtown. I've lived in Ottawa for 5 years now, have grown quite fond of it, and would love to show it to new travelers.
