I'm an English teacher from Colombia with a very open mind about he world. I have lived all my life in Colombia. I have never been abroad, actually. I'm from a beautiful city in Southwestern Colombia where I was born and raised. I learned English here since I was 12 and ever since then I discovered a great passion for foreing languages and cultures. I learned French when I was in university, but I lost contact with it since I graduated. I'm very sociable and friendly, a little too talkative at times, but very fun to be with... or so I like to think.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Although I have always loved foreign cultures, I have never really had a traveling spirit. I've dedicated my life to work on my teaching careere. Which is why I think Couchsurfing can give me that extra push I need to travel and get to know the world. Some of my friends here in Cali have been on this site for a while and through them, I have met some incredible Couchsurfers from all over the world and that really motivated me to try it out ...so, here I am!
Unfortunately, for now I don't have a place on my own, so I can't receive guests. But, I'm looking forward to going out with visitors and show them around. People can hang out at my house, but they can't stay they night.

I enjoy my free time pretty much hanging out with my family or friends having some beers -I'm a big time beer lover! I like to party and dance. I also enjoy staying home watching movies or playing video games. I like to read pretty much about anything just to know a little bit about everything.

I love rock music, especially punk. Although I don't have that much time to sit down and read a book, I enjoy mystery books and thrillers.
I love horror movies and serious dramas.
I'm not a very romantic guy ...so I don't like romantic songs, movies or books. They're just boring and predictable (for me). But maybe someone could ever teach me the fun side of romanticism.

I'm very much willing to share my local customs and traditions. I can cook traditional Colombian dishes. I'm also willing to make plans together with my family so guests can actually get in real touch with typical Colombian family traditions. My family is also very open-minded about everything and they're all always interested in making new friends.

If I ever decide to travel -hopefully soon enough, I would be very glad to teach Spanish, of course ...and English if it came to it. I'd be willing to cook for my host so they can try traditional Colombian dishes.
