About Me

Currently attempting to morph into a sponge to better absorb new experiences. I am a classically trained mezzo-soprano.

PHILOSOPHY

It's so neat that every single person on this planet has had a completely unique experience, and even moreso that I have been granted a personality type that seeks to communicate and grasp little bits of other's experiences. People, at their core, are comprised of the events that happened to them and how they reacted and that is absolutely exciting. I'm always searching to consume what people are willing to share with me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Classical music is my whole life, dude. My favorite opera is Carmen, favorite ballet is Petruchka.

I have to be strapped down to watch anything longer than ten minutes, but I do have Cloud Atlas memorized to a scary degree. Big Steven Universe fan, will get down to Rick and Morty, has seen every episode of The Joy of Painting. On season 5 of Game of Thrones (tag your spoilers). I own all of the Lord of the Ring, extended editions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in Peru for a couple months, and that was absolutely incredible, but I think one of my favorite memories is when I took a locals-only combi (group car) from Juliaca to Puerto Maldonado. At that time my Spanish was barely communicable and I was very far off the tourist path, so I very much stood out. The road we took was very new, only five years old, and still being built in some spots, and it went through some of the most remote (and beautiful) parts of Peru, I think. It was seven hours of the most beautiful scenery I had ever seen, as the road followed a river from 17,000ft in altitude in the Andes all the way to near sea level in the Amazon rainforest, and I did not take a single photo because my driver was absolutely crazy and went 50+mph on a curly mountain pass road for seven hours. I was so scared at parts because there was no guard rail but I was so out of control of the situation that the only was to cope was laugh, haha.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Being a high energy young person, I am always ready to go to the next thing. I love to cook, especially Filipino and southern food. If you've got a piano, I would love to give you a voice lesson c:
