About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Savor simple pleasures and spend as much time with my family

ABOUT ME

While working in the Congo with Medecins Sans Frontiere (MSF) Doctors without borders, I met my husband Pierre who was born in Burgundy, France and our lives changed. Five years later we have two beautiful half Filipino-French kiddies . We can't wait to tell them our adventure and love story that started in the the Democratic Republic of Congo!

PHILOSOPHY
Expect the unexpected and Treat everyone as you want to be treated while trying to make the world a better place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted couch surfers from local to international regions. I am not as active as I'd like to be primarily because of my family and more difficulty to host when we have a young baby and toddler at home. I am happy to meet up for coffee or take people around the city schedule allowing and if you don't mind having one or two kids around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted multiple times and surfed Hawaii, NY, Quebec, Germany, Greece and Geneva. Each experience unique, special and met amazing people that I can say are truly my friends at this point in my life. I've had only one bad hosting experience partly because expectations were not established from the beginning.

Interests

I enjoy good food, good drink, good conversations and all things active. More specifically, I enjoy doing art, dancing, climbing, volunteering, biking, swimming, running, learning and watching movies.

I love good conversations and well intentioned, kind and caring people any families traveling together or couple or anyone open minded and love children is more than welcome in my home for a nice fire pit, good conversation and a glass of Spritz, Ricard or Chablis/chatneuf de pape - your choice and grilling is our specialty. Drop me a line and we could always host for an nice evening by the fire - French speakers are welcome, we are a bilingual household.
