About Me
CURRENT MISSION
combining worktime with sillytime
ABOUT ME
I fill my spare time with yoga, reading, hula hooping, drinking hoppy brews or kombucha, and enjoying good cinema.
PHILOSOPHY
You can tell a lot about person when they react to these three things: lost luggage, rainy days, tangled christmas tree lights.
I work at the only collectively owned restaurant in Virginia and am currently entrenched in the co-op business model movement. I'm always looking for opportunities where people can work together to benefit the community as a whole.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Our house has turned into a couchsurfing hub. We've hosted people camping for labor day weekend, overnighters who just need a place to crash, people who want to check out the hiking spots and city excitement, and people attending/working various bluegrass festivals. We even hosted a guy who was walking across the country.
Basically I am on couchsurfing because I love meeting all kinds of people. The world has become so interconnected it is a crime not to take advantage of it! And when I travel I like to delve into a culture. Couchsurfing is THE best way to do this!
