I'm a 21 year old American college student. I grew up in a tiny town in North Carolina with 4 other siblings and now I'm planning a summer in Europe.

I write and perform poetry and study Comparative Literature and Communication Studies. Basically I write essays about how Nicki Minaj's ass relates to aestheticism, and what Iggy Azalea's popularity says about contemporary black identity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm spending my summer traveling through Europe to research urban spoken word poetry and hip-hop. I want to experience as much as possible!
