About Me

Hi! I'm Cam - born and raised on the laid-back West Coast of Canada where I've lived, learned, and worked all my life. Currently live in beautiful Vancouver, BC, with my partner Rosie (i.e. the girl in the pic!).

Love the outdoors (hikes, bikes, skis), am an avid ice hockey and squash player, and enjoy good music, good reads, and good laughs with friends. Recently finished graduate school and spent a couple years working in research before deciding to switch to a clinical profession, so I'm presently beginning medical training as of Fall 2018.

Look forward to meeting you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Really enjoy traveling and meeting new folks, but don't always want to be on the hostel circuit. Plus, like most people, wherever possible I'd prefer to see a place through the local lens.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Is it amazing or tragic to have four degrees? Either way, I'm working on that.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
- Any of the sports I play/activities I do (how to play ice hockey/play squash/do a proper squat)
- Health-related Behavioural Science and Psychology - i.e. Science-backed strategies for developing health and performance
- A blues pentatonic scale on the guitar

Learn:
- Languages
- How to cook your favorite dish
- About your experiences living how/where you do/are

What I Can Share with Hosts

A smile, a laugh, a coffee/beer, a meal, a passion for music, curiosity about you and your slice of the world. And a lot of inane health and psychology pro tips!
