I grew up in Nanaimo, BC, and have spent much of my adult life in California. I currently live at Tassajara, a Zen Buddhist practice place in the mountains near Big Sur.

I love exploring food and music, moving, live performance, baking bread, cycling, chanting and bowing, yoga, scriptural study, meditation and many other things. I love this strange life.
