Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend told me of his experience staying on a reindeer farm in Finland, and, though I'm not quite expecting such exotic adventures, it sounds an interesting way to meet new people and places.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm on something like a hiatus from music at the moment, but I have (or had!) a pretty eclectic taste spanning pretty much all genres. A few favourites have been Krautrock, Progressive Rock, Pop, jazz fusion etc.

My favourite movie is probably Ozu's Tokyo Story. I haven't been to the cinema in a while but do enjoy going.

My favourite book is the Bible though I don't read it nearly enough. I enjoy theological stuff but in terms of fiction (my mind is blank but) a book I enjoyed that remains in my memories is The Tatar Steppe.
