I love nature, fishing, and craft beer!

I like to garden and grow my own food. I dabble in a number of artistic mediums, including cooking, photography, painting, and woodwork, to name a few.

I get out on my kayak as often as I can.

I play guitar and bass.

I will never tire of seeing new places or trying new foods.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am hoping to buy property in New Zealand next year, and eventually become a citizen.

I will be visiting in February or March to look at land for sale as well as for employment.

I am curious as to what areas or regions of New Zealand, would best offer sizable (10 acres +) parcels of land (preferably with a stream), that are within a reasonable commute to employment.

Most of my life, I have wanted to come to New Zealand, but the recent election seems to be the final straw for me!

I am more than happy to help with chores and or cook!
