Overview
About Me
I was born in Connecticut, studied math & architecture at Yale University, and "Matter Design Computation" at Cornell. I'm into experimental digital music, urbex/place-hacking, getting lost, underground music and arts, traveling by train, raves, and more. I believe that what we need can often be found already hidden in the world around us, which often translates to creative sources of fun, food, and friends. It keeps things interesting.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In my perfect world, transaction would be either altruistic charity or an exchange of skills, knowledge, and experience. Couchsurfing makes those principles work, which I love. I don't have much to offer, but there's always a place for the wayward traveler in my house.

Teach, Learn, Share
I dabble in mixology and like getting creative with some cocktails (also a great social lubricant :). I love to exchange music, movie and book suggestions, to snoop out hidden shows or galleries, and to have a friend with whom to [urban/suburban/just plain-old] explore. I also make code art and design, and can give technical help with creative projects! Teaching is a passion of mine, and I love explaining concepts from geometry, algorithms, and theory in ways that break down esotericism.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share conversation, pitch in with housework and cooking, or generate spontaneous adventure. I tend to try to be minimally intrusive--I'm happy with just a roof over my head--but that doesn't mean I don't love to get to know you! You're a part of whatever adventure I'm on, after all.
