About Me
Update: I am thrilled to be moving to Paris for my PhD studies, and I'm looking for a host who might help me get my feet on the ground!
I was born in Connecticut, studied math and architecture, and I'm now in computational design research. I'm into experimental music, activism, urbex/place-hacking, getting lost, raves, and more. Let's keep things interesting.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In my perfect world, transaction would be either altruistic charity or an exchange of skills, knowledge, and experience. Couchsurfing makes those principles work, which I love. I don't have much to offer, but there's always a place for the wayward traveler in my house.

Teach, Learn, Share
I love to snoop out hidden shows or galleries, and to have a friend with whom to [urban/suburban/just plain-old] explore. I also make code art and design, and can give technical help with creative projects! Teaching is a passion of mine, and I love explaining concepts from geometry, algorithms, and theory in ways that break down the esoteric jargon.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share conversation, pitch in with housework and cooking, or generate spontaneous adventure. I tend to try to be minimally intrusive--I'm happy with just a roof over my head--but if you'd like to be a part of my adventure or to have a companion on yours, I'm open to it!
