Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My old roommate introduced me to couchsurfing when we used to host a few years ago in England. From the first person who stayed with us I realized it was a great place to meet new people from all sorts of backgrounds, countries and cultures. From here I joined and even though I haven't been able to host in recent years I still strongly believe in the positive and loving ethos it holds.

I love the idea of a greater community and couchsurfing gives me hope of a more beautiful karma-tic balance amongst like minded humans.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a big Music lover & honestly can enjoy or at least appreciate almost any music out there.
I first got into punk, rock & indie music as a teenager trying to find his way, after going to music college my mind got opened up to and incredibly dynamic and versatile world of music which I indulge in daily.

My favorite movie series is Lord Of The Rings, I watch that when i'm down as it is one big ADVENTURE. I do enjoy fantasy and have started Of Fire And Ice series. I also enjoy trillers and dramatic psychological novels.

I am more likely to be found with a collection of love poems or poems highlighting the romanticism of the world. Partly due to my lack of attention to commit to a big book and partly because of the depth of meaning. Rilke, Neruda, Silkin, Bukowski & Yuong are recent poets I have read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Took a leap of faith and moved to America 2 years ago when I wasn't satisfied with where my life was going at the time. Its crazy to think but that choice was the most important and pivotal moment in my life and has opened me up to learn a lot more about myself and world around me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will love to cook for any host (disclaimer I'm Vegan but I promise this shouldn't deter) and can make all sorts of wonderful foods. Card games, great stories from extensive travel, music, songs & laughter.
