Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to host folks to pay forward the hospitality that I experience when I'm on the road. CS has been good to me over the years.

Music, Movies, and Books

There is music from virtually every genre that I enjoy.

I love reading science fiction, some of my favorites are, Card, Heinlein, Herbert, Banks, and Vonnegut. I also love non fiction by the likes of Diamond, Pollen, Carson, Abby, Sagan, Feynman, and many others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done a lot of backpacking in New England, rock and ice climbing in the western US, and more recently have gotten fairly serious into long distance cycle touring. Most of the folks I host seem to travel by bike; you can also find me on warmshowers.org!

Teach, Learn, Share

Don't stress yourself about social status or the amount of money you make. As long as you love what you do and feel like you are making a positive impact with your time on Earth. What could be more rewarding than that?
