I'm 28 years old; born and raised in Australia, but living in the UK after a stint in Germany (my father was born in Berlin); finished my studies last year (Masters) and travelling the summer of 2016 (life is too short not to travel Europe in the summer).

I'm looking to start travelling with more of a focus on meeting locals and experiencing the culture that comes along with it. Staying in hostels can become very monotonous.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy listening to a variety of music ranging from jazz to blues to Latin to rock. I'm not much into heavy metal or pop music, but there's a time and place for everything. I generally read classic English novels, but I'm going to start opening up my mind to German literature. I don't watch a whole lot of film, but when I do it tends to be more with a meaning, or based upon a book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing this I've ever done is pack up my whole life in Australia and move to Germany at the age of 21. I grew up in a very small town and was never raised with the concept that we live in a globalised world, albeit that my father was born in Berlin and moved to Australia when he was seven years old!

The reason why this is so amazing to me is that it's sparked my desire to travel around the world as much as possible.
