CURRENT MISSION

Explore the world unknown when I can. Ive recently changed career paths from office sales life, to working trim carpentry in new construction. I have a wonderful girlfriend whom I adore very much, along with a great support system of family and friends. While I wont say life is perfect, as it always has its obstacles and curve balls, Im perfectly content with taking them on.

PHILOSOPHY

Sometimes I feel like I want to try everything and meet everyone. Although somewhat impossible, Im still going to try anyway!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ive had a few people come to my place, and Ive had the pleasure of surfing in Toronto and Chicago. So far both sides of the experience have been fantastic. I appreciate that people are willing to take the time to enjoy a moment or two with you out of their personal time. Its little things like that that help you appreciate the social side of the world.

When travelling alone, couchsurfing has quite a few advantages over the classic hotel. Its easy to blend in with the locals when your with locals. I suppose I could sit alone in a hotel room the tv, or having a laugh with new friends? GPS issues turn left, turn left, now u turn, or have a host that knows where to go and how to get there? Order pizza to your room and have a drink in the lobby, or pop into place your suggested based on what they know about you? Yes. Thats how awesome couch surfing is.

Literally, anything and everything. Im completely open to ideas and suggestions based on the local information you may have. When travelling Im sure we will be able to figure it out!

Some things we are doing commonly: Bowling, movie theatres, live shows, eat lots of food at new places and old favorites, bar hop with friends, relax in the house, build things, kayak a few local spots, hike different areas of Ohio, the list goes on.

Its not so much as a specific experience that comes to mind, but a frame of mind. By taking the time to say yes more than no, stay positive, and open up to new and unique travels and experiences. That has presented me some with some amazing opportunities.

I love to have conversations, and the subject can be anything. Sometimes I find myself being the talker if the topic is close to me, and if not, then Im often listening, absorbing, and learning. I also enjoy a good silence from time to time. I watch documentaries, read books, and get outside as often as I can.

I take in pride in being a well rounded person. I also enjoy exploring, so i try to know my surroundings. Im very social, and I enjoy meeting people. I like to think i make a great host :)
