About Me

Yo!

I've been an Indiana Jones wannabe since I was in diapers. I travel to experience all the amazingly beautiful locations and people but most importantly I travel to LIVE.

I'm a musician and artist that has spent the past 8 years living and travelling abroad. I love to meet new people and I love to host. I've had so many people take me in and show me their home, their family and their life along my travels and I want to return all of that love and support.

I've hosted a number of travellers in my van when I was living in Hawaii and would love to continue to host as soon as I have the space available again!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Opening your door to a stranger is a daunting idea for a lot of people... and i'd say they're missing out. All of the amazing people i've met through Couchsurfing is incredible and is something I feel everyone should experience.

Interests

I'm all ears here...
You want to water ski down a crocodile infested river? Let's do it.
Run around a McDonald's playground until we get kicked out? Sweet.
Stand front row at a Taylor Swift concert? Cool.
I'm interested in people and living life to the absolute fullest.

A couple of things I enjoy:
Music/Making music - Do a bit of live/electronic/sample based production on my laptop and play a couple of instruments including the guitar, bagpipes and the cigar box guitar.
Drawing/Painting - Was always an avid drawer but recently had the opportunity to paint a big mural of the Philippine Eagle for the reception of my friend's hostel in Moalboal, Cebu. 100% finger painted took me ages and was an amazing experience.
Rockclimbing
Camping
Long/scenic drives
Scuba Diving
Yoga
....the list goes on

  • concerts
  • dancing
  • running
  • traveling
  • guitar
  • skiing
  • mountains

Music, Movies, and Books

City of God is an amazing film
I really enjoy the story of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza.
I could go on for ages about music. PLEASE show me your tunes!
Going through a Reggae vibe at the moment...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Partook in a sweat tent ceremony in Portugal a couple of years back. Proved to be one of the most challenging things i've done.
Saved 3 local kids from drowning in the Philippines
Obtained my Scuba Divemaster certification recently in the Philippines
Hitch hiked straight across Australia over the course of 6 days living off of bread I found in a dumpster behind a supermarket and camped in an $8 tent on the side of the road. Planning at it's finest.
Lived in a community on the outskirts of Melbourne for 3 months with over 30 raging hippies from all over the world! One of the highlights of my travels. Beautiful people, amazing adventures, awesome vibes.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to jam out, even if you're not a musician. Bang some sticks together let's rock and roll.
I draw and paint often as well and know a couple of good card games.
Always up for an adventure and a good chat!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Pokemon cards and positive vibes!
