ABOUT ME

I'm from Chicago, I enjoyed growing up in a big city and I love the pace and life of cities. I enjoy music a lot. One of my favorite things to do is go to festivals and just be outside and hear great music. I love art baby! Studied art history at school, and I like to photograph and paint in my free time. I like going to art museums and galleries too.

PHILOSOPHY

Be calm and go with the flow. You have to give love in order to receive it. If you're looking for peace, peace is with you immediately. You're so money, baby.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Still a beginner. I created my Couchsurfing profile when studying abroad in Europe and wanted to couchsurf in some of the cities I visited. Had fun surfing in Italy and France.

Musica, film e libri

Music: really a bit of everything: mostly R&B, rap, indie rock, but also soul, bachata, salsa, electronic, juke, whatever. Alex G, Mitski, Elvis Depressedly, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Erykah Badu, Action Bronson, Blood Orange, King Krule, Alvvays, Craft Spells, Bon Iver, Jessy Lanza, Toro y Moi, Kaytranada, Machinedrum, Sophie, Mac Demarco, etc.

Books: Charles Dickens, Pablo Neruda, David Foster Wallace, Sylvia Plath, Jose Luis Borges, Roberto Bolano. Great Expectations, The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Great Gatsby, A Visit From the Goon Squad, To The Lighthouse, Infinite Jest, On the Road, etc. I'm always looking for book recommendations or to talk about books, so let me know what you've got. Especially South American lit or poetry, that's just what I've been into lately.

Movies: Jean-Luc Godard, Scorsese, Tarantino, and Woody Allen are some of my favorites. Jackie Brown, Vertigo, The Departed, Taxi Driver, Mean Streets, The Matrix, Do The Right Thing, Swingers.
