I'm a student, both in practice and in the way I approach the world. There is so much to learn from the world, and I'm always excited to gain new knowledge. I'm passionate about people, politics and society. I like being outside and I enjoy wandering (often aimlessly). Sometimes I'm a little quiet, but that's because I'm trying to take in as much as I can. I'm an optimist about this planet and its inhabitants, and I want it to be a better place when I'm gone.

And when I go traveling, I like meeting locals - people who can show me the nuances and depth which humans and their knowledge bring to any given place.
