ABOUT ME

Mountain biking, skiing, climbing, and drinking is what I like to do, in varying order. I just moved to Portland in March and am finding it a fun and challenging experience. I travel a lot, mostly in my 70's VW Bus named Roo. For now, pretty stationary in Portland with the weekend warrior trips as my primary exploration.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was introduced to Couchsurfing years ago as a surfer's friend. Having surfed a bit more after that, I began hosting once I could. I always like being a host and entertainer, so hosting on Couchsurfing is great fun for me!

Interests

Outdoor activities, happy hour food menus, excellent beer, great people, big smiles.

Vinyl records and cook books. We can talk about this when we meet, why spoil the surprise?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rode a bike down the Death Road in Bolivia. The list goes on, though.
