Overview
About Me
Joined Couchsurfing in summer 2014 but never got to use it :(
Thank you for the offers though!!
Trying again this year.
CURRENT MISSION
- visit all 47 prefectures in Japan
- travel, sightsee, soak up different cultures, chill, eat, meet a lot of people :)
- learn Korean
ABOUT ME
I'm technically British but I also grew up in America so I don't have a British accent at all unfortunately.
To be honest, I'm a pretty shy person but I am open and I like meeting new people. Depending on how well we click, I can get to be extra hyper or I can be pretty chill. In short, I can usually adapt well with others. I really like hearing about other places and other cultures so definitely drop me a message because I do like to talk! Haha.
PHILOSOPHY
Do what makes you happy as long as it does not harm and you are prepared for what comes after. // Make decisions based on what you will not (or least) regret.
FAVORITE QUOTE
Now and then it's good to pause in our pursuit of happiness and just be happy. (^^)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined because I wanted to try Couchsurfing during my summer adventures abroad and because I wanted to meet people from those areas. Unfortunately, due to a number of reasons, I was unable to use Couchsurfing then but I would still like to give it a try.
Back in Tokyo, I am unable to accommodate Couchsurfers at the moment (sorry!) but I'm more than happy to meet up (^^)
Interests
I love soaking up the culture. I like learning and experiencing new things and meeting new people (though I can be shy at first!). I also love trying the local food. I like learning about culture differences when I travel but during my spare time when I'm not traveling, I like the usual - music, movies, food and just chilling with my friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like almost anything really. I have less time for books now though I need to pick that back up. The only thing I'm not a fan of is metal and horror.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
That's hard....
I guess it's scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef (especially for a non-swimmer like me haha) when I randomly decided to go on a last-minute solo trip to Malaysia, Singapore and Australia for a month and a half in 2014. Haha. It was a pretty amazing trip.
There's still so much more I want to do though!
