ABOUT ME

We were born in South Korea but lived elsewhere for many years. When we came back to Seoul, we met each other for the first time in a salsa bar called Macondo. The following year, we were married. Now we are traveling abroad!

PHILOSOPHY

There is only today. Go everywhere, meet everyone, do everything as if it's the last time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We had our first couchsurfing experience in Jakarta with a wonderful host.

Interests

Camilla is a hair stylist who also does tattoos, piercings, photography, and jewelry making.

Bum is an artist who makes short animations, children's books, and documentary films.

Music, Movies, and Books

Camilla likes The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Big Fish, and Babel. Bum likes The Adventures of Prince Achmed.

We like Korean dramas, especially historical ones like Queen Seonduk and Daejanggeum.

We like salsa and bachata music. Camilla likes electronica, and Bum likes jazz music.

We like books by Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Bernard Werber. Camilla also enjoys Isabel Allende, and Bum enjoys JRR Tolkien and Salman Rushie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Meeting each other in Macondo, dancing until dawn, and falling in love.
