About Me

Hello! My name is Camila and I'm from Campo Grande, Brazil, and have lived in the UK for 12 years now. I'll be travelling around Portugal and Spain soon and will move to Amsterdam afterwards.

I'm easygoing, open minded, fun and tidy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find the concept of couchsurfing very interesting. I haven't tried it yet, but am looking forward to it. Since I'm moving to Amsterdam, I believe this will be a great way to meet people whilst looking for a place.

Interests

I enjoy travelling, scuba diving, reading, football, booze, food, dancing, friends, music and all that makes us happy.

Travelling is a big part of my life. From time to time, I give myself a break, pack my backpack and hang out in some (not all of them) amazing places!

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy quite a few different music types. Classical, Rock n' Roll, country, samba, axe and MPB (Popular Brazilian music) are among my favourites.

I tend to like gangster movies for some reason. Scorsese and Copolla style. Comedies are always good for the soul and thrillers are not bad.
Two series I love are Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones.

I've been reading some Paulo Coelho books lately. His work makes me feel determined and confident.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've hiked the Inca trail in Peru to arrive in Machu Picchu 4 days later. The scenery was outstanding. It was a bigger challenge than I thought it was going to be, but worth every coca leaf I had to chew. Incredible!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some Portuguese for those who are interested and in case there's a pool and some scuba gear, I can put my scuba diving skills to practice with you.

I'd like to learn about your culture, language and your lifestyle choices.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My passion for travel and open-mindedness. The respect for other cultures and ways of life.
