Hello there! My name is Camila, I'm from Brazil and I'm living in Galway, Ireland for about 7 months now. I love to be in touch with other cultures, to travel, learn other languages and to meet new people! Since ever, my main dream was to live in a different country. I see this experience I'm having as, among other things, a way of break my limites, know myself deeply and a opportunity to grow my soul and spirit with unforgettable experiences.

Accomodations such as hotels or even hostel sometimes become really expensive for us travelers. As a student and a backpacker, I'm always searching for the most economical option while I'm traveling, and of course, couchsurfing is a way to know new and different people and learn new cultures and thousands of other cool stuff. :p

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music is my real passion. I love playing instruments (at the moment I can play guitar, ukulele, a little bit of piano and futurely a lot more I hope haha) and singing. What's in my everyday playlist: actually, talking about music, almost nothing is solid to me. It's kinda like all about moment. So, at the moment, I'm really into alternative music, indie, etc. A little of pop music sometimes makes me feel good haha Like Madonna, Michael Jackson, ABBA... Oh, and, of course, always open-minded to discover new and different music.

Talking about cinema, I looove so much Pedro Almodóvar's filmography (one of my favourites film directors btw). Kiarostami, Dolan, Nolan, Tarantino, Lars Von Trier and Hitchcock are among them. I'm crazy about anything related to Harry Potter (literally anything!). I love so much Italian and French films (Grazie mille, merci beaucoup!). My favourite film of all time (it was hard to pick one, I admit) is Dogville.
ps.: I love to watch to drama and suspense films, my favourites film genres.

I've gotta confess, I used to read a lot more, but lately i've just been so damn lazy (it's internet's fault, thank you very much), I keep trying to finish a book and it seems it has no end haha Anyway,lately I've been reading [trying to] like 3 books at once... and finishing none of them ): keep trying, tho lol (yes, it's been months since I've started to read'em, it's true, but shhh let's not focus on that haha)

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I had a craaaaazy adventure flying to Paris all by myself in December 2015 to go to Madonna's concert! It was simply FANTASTIC! This is definately somethingI'll never forget.

I can teach you portuguese if you want and I'm definately interested to learn your language as well ;p
If you know how to play any instruments or even sing, maybe we can create our own band and perform on Shop Street someday haha
