About Me

I'm a 21yo Brazilian girl aspiring to be a journalist and travel around the world trying to make some difference. I know, it's hard but it's a dream, what can I do? Haha
Daughter of argentines, I have traveled a little bit through the east coast of the US, the north of Argentina and through Brazil (GO, MG, SP, RJ, SC, RS).
I'm a really communicative and curious person, I love to meet new people, different cultures and places. I enjoy sports, specially rugby and Gaelic football which I play, besides outdoor activities like hiking, boating, kayaking, etc.
I'm a foodie (although a little annoying with some things like onions, mushrooms and salads in general, sorry!!), broccoli lover, wine and beer fond and nature lover.
I really appreciate photography although I don't know much about techniques and stuff.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and I'm not just searching for a place to stay, I want to meet people, share experiences, make friends, expand my knowledge about the world, learn and teach (when posible). I want to feel the local experience, not just be another tourist. I also pretend to backpack through the world and use couch surfing accommodations when possible.

Interests

I enjoy learning how different people handle life, what do they do, like, they're culture and customs.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have one favorite music or movie because I don't think you can compare genders and styles so different.
Music: I like a little bit of everything. My parents raised me listening to rock (like The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, AC DC, U2, Deep Purple, etc), popular brazilian music (MPB) and some argentinian folk music.
I really enjoy indie rock (The Black Keys, Foster the People, Florence + the Machine, Arctic Monkeys, The Racounters), brazilian music in general, cumbia, samba and everything that's danceable.

Movies: it really depends on my mood. The most remarkeable ones are Pulp Fiction, Inglorious Bastards, Star Wars, Le Fabuleux Destine d'Amélie Poulain, 12 Years a Slave, The Da Vinci Code and much more.

Books: I enjoy novels in general, biographies of people I admire, science fiction. I don't have favorites either but there are this two books that I can remind that I really liked, Mayombe by Pepetela and Captains of the Sands by Jorge Amado.

(I have a terrible memory under pressure, sorry hehe)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Gave up on everything in Brazil to come to Argentina to help and take care of my already gone mom. That was the best experience and time I had in life until now, and I really don't regret it.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: some basics on guitar playing, rugby football, gaelic football, some handcrafts, portuguese, spanish, english, or even some brazilian food (I really like to cook but I don't have great skills, but we can work on that hehe)

Learn: I'm always open to learn something new, a hobby, new language, art, sport... Surprise me!

Life's all about that: share.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Some curiosities and knowledge about the places I visited and the experiences I had in life. Also good talks and laughs. I can help with some animal care, cleaning and put things in order. We can cook some meals together and learn with each other :)

Countries I’ve Visited
