Overview
About Me
Brazilian + Portuguese + Liechtenstein
I have a very mixed background, but we can talk about that later...:P
I am an extremely curious person and an uncurable optimist.
When I moved to Rio 3 years ago I discovered that what I really wanna do is work with social development! I started volunteering with an NGO called TETO/TECHO and fell in love with the communities we work with and the people who I worked side by side.
I now decided to do a 5 month backpacking trip through South America for a while!
I am currently in PATAGONIA!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My first and only experience was a couple of years ago in Brazil, and from that one time only experience I met friends of a lifetime!
Although new to the CS experience, I love to receive friends and friends of friends in my home and love to show them the bit and pieces a tourist would never dream about knowing.
I love that feeling, when you and the city just seem to belong, like the meeting of old friends that have never met.
I am going on a 5 month backpacking trip through South America and I really want to get to know the rhythm of the cities and meet the people living there and of course experience it through the locals perspective!
I've been planning and dreaming about this trip for 10 years now, and I still am in awe that this is finally happening!

Its was an incredible experience, I was completely thrown out of my element, and I loved every minute! It seemed everything was happening as in a movie, so magical, weird and out of the box kind of stuff!
- Slept on the Great Wall of CHINA and hiked it for 20 km
- Slept on the beach in a full moon in Lopes Mendes, Ilha Grande, RJ, Brasil
- Did a 3 day (50km) crossing in "Vale do Pati" in Chapada da Diamantina, Bahia, Brazil. A wonderful natural reserve where nature has been untouched.
