About Me
Hi, my name is Camila, people call me "Cami".
I'm from Montevideo, Uruguay. I'm 24 years old, and i just graduated as "psicomotricista", a discipline that works especially with children. I'm working since 2012 as a kindergartner teacher. 3 years ago I started volunteering, it is about going once a week to give food to homeless people. But it is not just food, we try to spend some time with them, giving them some space to talk and to feel listened. We also dedicate some time to pray.
I'm a very friendly, easygoing and funny person. I love travelling and spending my free time with my friends and family. Wishing to have great and unforgettable experiences when I travel abroad... And also help travelers to have a great stay at Uruguay, making them feel like home.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Last year i travelled to Europe with my two sisters and we did couchsurfing at Brussles, we had the best experience of all!!! it is the best way to know a country and its people, since you live it from the "inside" and you are not just a tourist that goes to the famous places. It is the best way to do cultural exchanges.
I will be doing with my two best friends a road trip all through Spain and Portugal from july until august. Then, we will be staying at Barcelona until december.
Interests
I love meeting new people, new places and knowing new cultures. I'm an open minded, funny, easygoing and outgoing person.
My favourite plan when i arrive to a new city is going to a typical bar and drink some beers. I love how cities looks at night!! I really enjoy outside activities: sitting in parks and watch people go by i feel its perfect.
I'm also a football and basketball fan, i love going to matches.
