Overview
About Me
Hi! I’m Camila from Ecuador 🇪🇨 — a dentist, traveler, and lifelong learner who believes that every person we meet adds a new story to our lives. I recently completed my degree in Dentistry and I’m currently working in community health, providing care and education to people in rural areas.
Beyond my profession, I’m passionate about art, culture, and meaningful conversations. I love exploring new cities, learning about different ways of life, and connecting with people who are kind, curious, and open-minded.
I travel not only to see places, but to understand them — through local experiences, shared meals, and genuine human connection.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe that the best way to know a place is through its people. I don’t travel just to see places — I travel to connect, to learn new perspectives, and to share moments that feel genuine and human. Meeting locals, listening to their stories, and discovering daily life through their eyes makes every trip unforgettable.
Interests
I’m passionate about traveling, art, and meeting people from different cultures. I love meaningful conversations, exploring new cities, and discovering local food and traditions. I enjoy painting, nature, and photography — especially sunsets and small details that tell stories.
I’m also interested in health, science, and personal growth. I believe in kindness, lifelong learning, and the power of human connection.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love music that makes me feel something — from indie and jazz to Latin rhythms and soft rock. I listen to artists like John Mayer, Coldplay, Natalia Lafourcade, and sometimes classical music when I paint or read. Music is my way to connect with moments and memories.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
traveled across the Ecuadorian coast, highlands, and Amazon by car with my family — discovering waterfalls, volcanoes, and small towns full of kind people. It made me fall in love with my own country and the beauty of slow travel.
Teach, Learn, Share
can share what I know about oral health, art, Latin American culture, and simple ways to take care of your smile and wellbeing. I also love sharing my language — I can help you practice Spanish! 🇪🇸
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer good company, kindness, and genuine curiosity. I love sharing stories, cooking something together, or helping around the house. I’m respectful, clean, and easygoing — I always try to make my hosts feel comfortable and appreciated. And if you’re interested, I can share a bit of Ecuadorian culture and teach some Spanish!
